FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 28, 2017
Vancouver BC – On September 1, 2017, Canadian country music superstar Aaron Pritchett will be embarking on a cross Canada trip in his prized 1973 VW Van “Gertie.” Along for the ride is Aaron’s partner, Jessie and a professional videographer that will be documenting their epic journey through the mountains and prairies as they make their way to this year’s CCMA’s that take place in Saskatoon on September 10, 2017.
A 2017 Juno nomination under his belt for Country Album of the Year, as well as multiple 2017 CCMA Award nominations, including Male Artist of the Year and Video of the year reflects on the success of his most recent album, “The Score”. Released on August 2, Pritchett’s current single “VW Bus” was the most downloaded single on DMDS and is destined to be a hit song. Written by Clint Drizen, Kristina Kidd, and Sarah Allison Turner, the song is also the inspiration for Aaron’s cross-country journey.
“This trip has always been a bucket list for me,” says Pritchett. “I am incredibly grateful to my team, our fans, and am so excited to connect with Canadians on our way to the CCMA’s. It’s an honour to be recognized in the Male Artist of the Year, and Video of the Year categories and I can’t wait fire up Gertie and get this show on the road!”
Aaron has partnered with the FFUN VW Centre of Saskatoon as well as the radio stations CKBL and CJWW and fans will be able to follow along his journey online through YouTube videos and on his social media platforms. Aaron will also be taking on a mini radio tour on the way hitting stations in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as three scheduled full band concerts in Lethbridge, Regina and Prince Albert.

We are SO excited to announce that Aaron Pritchett's album "The Score" has been nominated for Country Album of the Year at the 2017 Juno Awards!
Canadian country star Aaron Pritchett is back to his party-hearty ways on The Score. And he just might be celebrating a Juno Award for Country Album of the Year for his album that debuted in top spot on the Canadian country charts. The lead single, “Dirt Road in ‘Em,” hit the top 10 and the latest followup, When a Momma’s Boy Meets a Daddy’s Girl, is sitting in the top 40.
Vancouver, BC – CCMA winner Aaron Pritchett is back with a new single from his 7th studio album “The Score” released in June 2016. When A Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl, is the third single off the highly acclaimed project and is set to be released on January 24th to country radio.
“We are so excited for this single to hit the airwaves”, says Pritchett. “The song is meant to take you back to a place in life that I think we all can relate to, especially young love, where everything is so exciting, new and innocent. We think the song will appeal to not just my country fans, but to anyone that has been in love.”
After successfully opening for Garth Brooks’ two Saskatoon shows this past June, B.C born Pritchett is revving up for a very exciting 2017 and has already been announced to perform at the Kootenay Country Music Festival, and Havelock Jamboree in Havelock, Ontario this coming summer.
Pritchett recently won “Fans’ Choice” and “Single of the Year” at the 2016 British Columbia Country Music Awards (BCCMA’s), and “When a Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl” is sure to also garner favorable attention from the country music industry. The new single, written in Nashville by three notable Canadian songwriters, including country music artist Aaron Goodvin, will no doubt be a favourite this coming Valentine’s Day.
Pairing up with Director Cole Northey for the third time, the video will showcase a romantic collection of stories, glancing into the lives of four couples during the many stages of relationships. Northey recently won “Video of the Year” for Dirt Road In’ Em at the BCCMA’s. Make sure to watch for the video on CMT and Youtube.
